Title

War-Time Strikes and Their Adjustment

Description

War-Time Strikes and Their Adjustment was written by Alexander M. Bing (1879-1959), and published by E. P. Dutton and Company in 1921. Bing was a government employee during World War I, and took an active part in settling many labor controversies. This book is based upon his personal experiences; upon statements made to him by officials of government boards, employers, and union leaders, as well as reports of labor adjustment agencies, testmonies of many hearings, and government, economic, and labor journals. According to the introduction by Felix Adler, Bing's painstaking accuracy and deep sympathy with the human factor in industry helped him to create this book presenting the case of labor.
