Description

A black and white photograph of an overturned and burned car and the broken windows at the Electric Auto-Lite plant in the aftermath of a riot by strikers. The plant employees had been on strike beginning February 25, 1934 and rioting began May 22 when picketers confronted strikebreakers and Ohio National Guardsmen. When rioting ended on May 27th, the plant received extensive damage and many burnt and overturned vehicles littered the road. The photographer is unknown.
